Dr Raman Sakhuja MBBS, MRCPsych, DpM (Psychological Medicine) is a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in Addiction Psychiatry, General Adult Psychiatry with special interest in Trauma. He works across the whole South East Wales area and holds positions of Honorary Lecturer in Psychiatry with Cardiff School of Medicine and is the Royal College of Psychiatrists in Wales- Faculty of Addictions Representative.

He is trained in EMDR for psychological consequences of trauma and practices Motivational Interviewing when working with people with Addictions. He is a recognised private prescriber of Controlled drugs in Wales for treatment of addictions.

He holds a Cardiff University Bond Solon Certificate of Expert Witness for providing medico- legal reports in Personal Injury and Family Law.

He is a recognised Consultant Provider for many private insurance companies including BUPA, AVIVA, AXA, WPA, PruHealth, CIGNA.
